 g at the Museum'\, Monday\, May 27\, at 6 pm\, with Erwin Kessler as guest
 .\nUntil recently Director of the Museum of Recent Art\, Erwin Kessler is 
 the author of memorable art exhibitions\, from 'Colours of the Avant-garde
 ' in 2007 to 'The Picasso Effect'\, opening in 2023. At the same time\, Er
 win Kessler has reformed the language of Romanian art criticism by resorti
 ng to sharp\, non-protocolic expressions\, deconstructing many of the 'edi
 fices' that seemed perennial in the history of Romanian art and putting co
 ntemporary art manifestations in a cruel light. Even if his articles somet
 imes provoked fierce polemics\, his contribution was recorded as a necessa
 ry ferment and contrast factor in the territory of the local plastic arts.
 \nIn the discussion that will take place during the 'Meeting at the museum
 ' with Călin Stegerean\, the general director of the National Museum of Ar
 t of Romania'\, aspects related to Mr. Kessler's vision of the museum envi
 ronment and the means that make possible the journey from idea to realizat
 ion\, his perspective on contemporary artistic environments and the Romani
 an cultural environment as a whole will be addressed.\nThe program 'Meetin
 g at the museum' aims to mediate the public contact with personalities fro
 m various fields of culture on topics at the intersection of various artis
 tic genres. The discussion will be free and dynamic\, in which the audienc
 e will be able to intervene with questions addressed to the guest and the 
 moderator.\nThe event will take place on the ground floor of the National 
 Gallery\, Calea Victoriei 49-53.\nAccess is based on a 12 lei ticket. http
