 mpathy\, interest\, and amusement from collectors\, Tonitza was considered
  by the interwar generation of Bucharest as a local Modigliani. The artist
 's friendship with Zambaccian was marked by disputes and conflicts\, yet i
 t lasted until the artist's untimely death in 1940. You will learn about t
 he history of the K.H. Zambaccian Museum\, the stories behind the painting
